The 2014 Indian Auto Expo has been considered as one of the best opportunistic platform to launch new vehicles in the Indian car market. Many car manufacturers have come up with their series of new vehicles, so is the Tata Motors. Tata brings an automatic variant of its flagship crossover MUV at the expo. The company had already introduced the 4x4 and 4x2 version of the Aria, while the latter came with an intention to bring an affordable variant of the same.
The automatic variant will feature 2.2-liter Dicor diesel engine which is capable to churn maximum power output of 138bhp and 320Nm of torque. The engine is combined with six speed automatic transmission gearbox.
Apart from automatic variant, the company has launched an updated Aria with few cosmetic changes and few additional features to make it most suitable for the Indian roads. Few tweaks over the exteriors include new projector headlamps and restyled tail lamps. Also the AT variant features new set of alloy wheels. Inside the car, the quality of material being used is raised from the earlier model and also sports captain seat layout.
