The tiny Nano is again in news and this time for a special reason. The most affordable small car in the country has been coronated with the title of the ‘Most Trusted Brand’ in the hatchback category. According to the Brand Trust Report, India Study 2015, Nano was honored with this title by shortlisting 1000 most trusted brand that were picked up from 19,000 unique brands and from various 270 categories.
On receiving this prestigious honor, Ms. Delna Avari, Head- Marketing Communications, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors said, “We at Tata Motors are honored and extremely proud to have received this recognition for the third year in a row. With our new way forward strategy in HorizoNext, all our new products and services are guided by Customer Centricity as the core, guiding belief. Awards like these only serve to demonstrate how customers recognize the compelling value proposition and tremendous quality that a Nano offers. Tata Motors is proud of its pioneering efforts in coming up with such an innovative product; it not only anticipated the need of the current times accurately but also went ahead with its plans to make the product see the light of the day. We will continue to innovate on the Nano platform to cater to the dynamic desires of our growing customer base.”
Nano has received this award for third time in a row, proving one of the favorite city cars of the country. After facing stern competition in the market and not meeting the expected sales figures, the small car was brought in a new avatar last year in the form of ‘Nano Twist’.
Just recently, Tata introduced a base variant named Twist XE at the price tag of INR 2.06 lac which also created a record becoming the ‘most affordable power steering hatch’ available in the country.
“Blending best-in-class technology and design engineering, we at Tata Motors worked closely with our partners to take Nano’s ‘Awesomeness' to a whole new level. The Nano Twist has redefined customer's driving experience in city traffic. The Nano Twist has received very good response and the Company has seen a healthy traction in the sales numbers of Nano and are confident that this momentum will continue.”, Ms. Delna added.
