Awaiting an Auto Expo reveal, Maruti Vitara Brezza has started to create quite a buzz in the Indian auto space. This can be attributed to Maruti’s marketing strategy of releasing an array of teasers of the sub-compact SUV.
Starting with an official webpage, the company then released a video teaser partially showcasing the grille. Now, in a brand new teaser, Maruti has revealed the body-stance and the front profile of the car. Although under a white rap, the body details can easily be seen. The car will be showcased at the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo and will lock horns with TUV300 and Ford EcoSport. Cost wise, the car is expected to be the most economical in segment.
Headlight cluster houses projectors and DRLs. The unit itself looks new and goes well on the SUV. The LED DRLs underline the projectors and give a premium look to the vehicle. The alloy wheels on the car have a 10 spoke layout arranged in 5 sets of parallel spokes. The ORVMs are equipped with turn indicators and the overall stance of the car is more TUV ish and less like EcoSport.
The front of the car is dominated by a bold chrome slat, sitting in middle of the grille which has vertical slats below and a Renault inspired design above. The Suzuki insignia is a bold one, which is complimented by the big turn indicators and fog lamp housings. The SUV gives out an overall masculine appeal which just might work well with the masses.
Behind this muscular front face will most likely be a 1.2-litre VTVT petrol engine. The diesel will most likely be the 1.3 litre DDiS 200 with the SHVS technology, currently employed in the Ciaz. The car will be retailed out of a regular Maruti dealerships in India, which is good as a lot more people will have access to the car.
