Adani Power consolidated net profit rises 64.10% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 57.37% to Rs 7335.37 crore

Net profit of Adani Power rose 64.10% to Rs 1173.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 715.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 57.37% to Rs 7335.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 4661.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 488.48 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 815.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 29.11% to Rs 25198.32 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 19517.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
