Ahluwalia Contracts jumps as Franklin Templeton MF purchases bulk shares

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) rose 6.07% to Rs 239.50 at 10:47 IST on BSE after Franklin Templeton MF - Franklin India Smaller Com bought 4.17 lakh shares of the firm at Rs 220.57 per share in a bulk deal on the NSE yesterday, 14 July 2015.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 224.16 points or 0.8% at 28,157.06.

On BSE, so far 1.38 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 85,000 shares in the past two weeks.

The stock hit a high of Rs 244.50 and a low of Rs 230.90 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 293.80 on 8 April 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 103.10 on 15 July 2014.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India)'s net profit rose 0.8% to Rs 17.43 crore on 25.7% growth in net sales to Rs 313.71 crore in Q4 March 2015 over Q4 March 2014.
