AksharChem (India) standalone net profit rises 56.20% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 3.55% to Rs 48.38 crore

Net profit of AksharChem (India) rose 56.20% to Rs 4.03 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 3.55% to Rs 48.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 50.16 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 4.00% to Rs 16.64 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 16.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 6.06% to Rs 187.71 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 199.82 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
