Amara Raja Batteries announced that the four-wheeler automotive battery plant at Nunegundlapalle village, Bangarupalyam Mandal, Chittoor District (Unit II) with an installed capacity of 2.25 million units p.a was commissioned on 26 March 2015.

With this, the total capacity of the four-wheeler automotive battery plant is at 8.25 million units p.a.
