Apollo Hospitals gains on good Q3 performance
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise rose 1.16% to Rs 1716.45 after it reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 92.14 crore in Q3 December 2019, up by 61.5% from Rs 57.05 crore reported in Q3 December 2018.
Net sales increased by 16.7% to Rs 2911.74 crore in Q3 December 2019 from Rs 2495.04 crore in Q3 December 2018.
Total expenses jumped by 11.7% to Rs 2481.72 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.
Tax expenses surged 79% to Rs 60.46 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.
Pre-tax profit in the December quarter stood at Rs 145.30 crore, up by 41.1% from Rs103.01 crore in Q3 December 2018.
