Asahi India Glass standalone net profit rises 195.90% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales decline 4.90% to Rs 518.85 crore

Net profit of Asahi India Glass rose 195.90% to Rs 22.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 7.56 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined 4.90% to Rs 518.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 545.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 50.21 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against net loss of Rs 40.22 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales declined 2.27% to Rs 2057.21 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 2105.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
