Ashok Leyland standalone net profit rises 40.16% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 31.84% to Rs 8772.49 crore

Net profit of Ashok Leyland rose 40.16% to Rs 667.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 476.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 31.84% to Rs 8772.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 6653.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 27.76% to Rs 1562.59 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1223.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 30.33% to Rs 26247.91 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 20140.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
