Basant Agro Tech (India) standalone net profit rises 0.89% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 14.17% to Rs 96.85 crore

Net profit of Basant Agro Tech (India) rose 0.89% to Rs 2.27 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 14.17% to Rs 96.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 84.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 39.68% to Rs 5.58 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 9.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 3.46% to Rs 316.65 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 306.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
