Bayer CropScience fell 3.69% to Rs 3,335 at 10:31 IST on BSE after net profit declined 50.18% to Rs 27.40 crore on 9.46% decline in net sales to Rs 622.20 crore in Q3 December 2015 over Q3 December 2014.
The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 2 February 2016.Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 229.04 points, or 0.93%, to 24,309.96.
On BSE, so far 722 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 943 shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 3,343 and a low of Rs 3,250.75 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 4,234 on 16 April 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 3,192.80 on 27 March 2015. The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 2 February 2016, rising 0.15% compared with 6.20% decline in the Sensex. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 0.94% as against Sensex's 7.61% fall.
The large-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 35.35 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
