Blue Dart Express standalone net profit declines 36.85% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 7.40% to Rs 676.28 crore

Net profit of Blue Dart Express declined 36.85% to Rs 24.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 38.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.40% to Rs 676.28 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 629.67 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 26.53% to Rs 139.57 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 189.98 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 5.05% to Rs 2680.87 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2551.92 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
