Blue Dart Express standalone net profit rises 16.55% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 10.28% to Rs 629.71 crore

Net profit of Blue Dart Express rose 16.55% to Rs 40.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 34.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 10.28% to Rs 629.71 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 571.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 49.70% to Rs 189.88 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 126.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 12.55% to Rs 2553.06 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2268.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
