At meeting held on 23 February 2018

The Board of DCM Shriram at its meeting held on 23 February 2018 has approved the investment proposal for expansion of caustic soda capacity at Bharuch (Gujarat) as detailed below -

Capacity increase - 186 tonnes per day
Investment - Rs 113 crore
Commissioning - April 2019
Existing capacity - 1015 tonnes per day
Post expansion capacity - 1347 tonnes per day (includes 146 tonner per day approved in November 2017).
