The Executive Committee of Central Board of State Bank of India at its meeting held on 13 April 2018 has accorded its approval for extension of validity period for raising of AT 1 capital up to an amount of Rs 8000 crore till 31 March 2019 and accordingly authorised the Bank to raise up to an amount of Rs 8000 crore Additional Tier 1 capital, by way of issuance of Basel III compliant perpetual debt instrument in USD and /or INR at par through private placement to overseas and/or Indian investor.Powered by Capital Market - Live News
