Britannia Industries consolidated net profit rises 55.35% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 14.32% to Rs 2031.83 crore

Net profit of Britannia Industries rose 55.35% to Rs 167.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 107.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 14.32% to Rs 2031.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 1777.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit rose 74.18% to Rs 688.64 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 395.35 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 13.85% to Rs 7775.09 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 6829.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
