Camlin Fine Sciences spurts after bulk deal

Camlin Fine Sciences rose 3.76% to Rs 113.05 at 14:45 IST on BSE after a bulk deal of 9.31 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 112 per share at 14:36 IST on BSE.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 135.82 points, or 0.4% to 34,076.26. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 57.02 points, or 0.32% to 17,926.44.

Bulk deal boosted volume on the scrip. On the BSE, 10.52 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 93,000 shares in the past two weekss. The stock had hit a high of Rs 114.50 and low of Rs 109.15 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 154.70 on 5 January 2018. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 71 on 13 September 2017.

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 12.12 crore. Face value per share is Re 1.

Camlin Fine Sciences reported consolidated net loss of Rs 5.02 crore in Q3 December 2017 compared with net loss of Rs 3.45 crore in Q3 December 2016. Net sales rose 54.34% to Rs 206.72 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.
