Cipla consolidated net profit declines 68.86% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 7.58% to Rs 3206.66 crore

Net profit of Cipla declined 68.86% to Rs 80.87 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 259.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 7.58% to Rs 3206.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2980.69 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 27.54% to Rs 1505.92 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1180.77 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 22.88% to Rs 13372.47 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 10882.41 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
