Cyient dropped 4.09% to Rs 467.70 at 15:15 IST on BSE after consolidated net profit dropped 11.85% to Rs 86.84 crore on 1.31% rise in net sales to Rs 781.78 crore in Q3 December 2015 over Q2 September 2015.
The result was announced during market hours today, 14 January 2016.Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 81.81 points, or 0.33%, to 24,772.30.
High volumes were witnessed on the counter. On BSE, so far 72,500 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 12,877 shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a low of Rs 456.15 so far during the day, which is also a 52-week low for the stock. The stock hit a high of Rs 506 in intraday trade. The stock hit a record high of Rs 641 on 15 October 2015.
The mid-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 56.24 crore. Face value per share is Rs 5.
