Diamond Power Infra drops amid volatility

Diamond Power Infrastructure was down 0.37% to Rs 40.80 at 14:26 IST on BSE, with the stock sliding amid intraday volatility.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 101.62 points or 0.38% at 26,711.16.

On BSE, so far 2.17 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 2.40 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock was volatile. The stock lost as much as 1.34% at the day's low of Rs 40.40 so far during the day. The stock rose as much as 4.88% at the day's high of Rs 42.95 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 62.65 on 13 May 2016. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 22.05 on 29 March 2016. The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 21 June 2016, sliding 14.42% compared with Sensex's 5.97% rise. The scrip had, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, surging 62.18% as against Sensex's 6.04% rise.

Diamond Power Infrastructure during market hours today, 22 June 2016 announced that it has secured an order worth Rs 57 crore for supply of conductor and cables.

On consolidated basis, Diamond Power Infrastructure reported net loss of Rs 50.49 crore in Q3 December 2015, higher than net loss of Rs 29.67 crore in Q3 December 2014. Net sales declined 20% to Rs 492.23 crore in Q3 December 2015 over Q3 December 2014.
