For period from 2013-14 sugar season to 2016-17 sugar season
EID Parry (India) announced that as per the negotiations held with the farmers in the company's reserved area in Tamil Nadu, who supply sugarcane to the company, the company has decided to pay an additional cane price for the period from 2013-14 sugar season to 2016-17 sugar season as a one-time payment. The estimated amount to be paid by the company would be around Rs 90 crore.The company has been advised by the state government that the future cane price would be worked on a revenue sharing basis.
