Energy, resources lead Australia market rally
Capital Market Australian share market ended higher for second straight session on Friday, 22 January 2016, as broad-based buying underpinned on tracking gains in offshore market overnight and rebound in commodity prices. All ASX sectors advanced, with energy and resources stocks being major gainers. At the close, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index advanced 52 points, or 1.07%, to 4916 points, while the broader All Ordinaries index rose 52 points, or 1.06%, to 4969.60 points.
