Fortis Malar Hospitals standalone net profit declines 74.44% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 4.01% to Rs 34.79 crore

Net profit of Fortis Malar Hospitals declined 74.44% to Rs 0.34 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 4.01% to Rs 34.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 33.45 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 54.74% to Rs 2.82 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 6.23 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 8.45% to Rs 140.56 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 129.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
