Gitanjali Gems reports consolidated net profit of Rs 5.15 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 29.47% to Rs 5544.64 crore

Net profit of Gitanjali Gems reported to Rs 5.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 23.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 29.47% to Rs 5544.64 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 4282.73 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 61.71% to Rs 167.71 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 103.71 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 18.51% to Rs 16572.87 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 13984.49 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
