Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals rose 7.42% to Rs 461.85 at 15:16 IST on BSE after net profit surged 37.98% to Rs 328.98 crore on 14.01% increase in total income to Rs 1815.43 crore in Q4 March 2018 over Q4 March 2017.
The result was announced after trading hours yesterday, 23 April 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 168.06 points, or 0.49% to 34,618.83.
On the BSE, 12.07 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 2.95 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 475.40 and a low of Rs 452.55 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 548.50 on 24 October 2017. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 253.60 on 11 August 2017.
The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 155.42 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
