Godfrey Phillips India standalone net profit declines 20.16% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 10.97% to Rs 679.24 crore

Net profit of Godfrey Phillips India declined 20.16% to Rs 47.71 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 59.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 10.97% to Rs 679.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 762.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 9.89% to Rs 164.98 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 183.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 6.61% to Rs 2354.41 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2521.02 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
