Net profit of Great Eastern Shipping Company rose 83.29% to Rs 96.17 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 52.47 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.04% to Rs 454.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 458.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.For the full year,net profit rose 92.22% to Rs 609.90 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 317.30 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 14.02% to Rs 1947.85 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1708.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
