HDFC Bank sold 1.89% stake of Central Depository Services (India) (CDSL) via bulk deal on Tuesday, 22 June 2021.
As per the bulk deal data on the NSE, HDFC Bank sold 19,80,000 equity shares (or 1.89% stake) of CDSL at an average price of Rs 936.39 each on Tuesday, 22 June 2021.On the same day, PPFAS Mutual Fund purchased 15,90,764 equity shares (or 1.52% stake) of CDSL at average price of Rs 937.34.
As of 31 March 2021, HDFC Bank held 7.18% stake while PPFAS Mutual Fund held 3.2% stake in CDSL.
CDSL is India's leading and only listed depository, with an objective of providing convenient, dependable and secure depository services at affordable cost to all market participants.
Shares of CDSL were up 0.69% at Rs 974.15 on NSE.
