Hindalco Industries standalone net profit rises 25.60% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 27.43% to Rs 11026.09 crore

Net profit of Hindalco Industries rose 25.60% to Rs 502.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 400.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 27.43% to Rs 11026.09 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 8652.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 182.10% to Rs 1556.89 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 551.90 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.78% to Rs 36936.61 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 34270.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
