Hindustan Unilever standalone net profit rises 7.02% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 3.37% to Rs 7809.40 crore

Net profit of Hindustan Unilever rose 7.02% to Rs 1089.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1018.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 3.37% to Rs 7809.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 7555.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 5.40% to Rs 4082.37 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 4315.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 4.16% to Rs 31425.27 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 30170.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
