Hindustan Unilever update on scheme of amalgamation

Hindustan Unilever announced that the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench, vide its order dated 24 September, 2019 ('Order'), has sanctioned the Scheme of Amalgamation by way of merger by absorption among GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare ('Transferor Company') and Hindustan Unilever (the 'Company') and their respective Shareholders and Creditors (the 'Scheme').

This Order is subject to sanction of the Scheme by the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench.

The company has received the certified copy of the aforesaid Order along with the sanctioned Scheme on 06 November 2019.
