Huhtamaki PPL rallied 7.88% to Rs 269.75 after standalone net profit surged 279.60% to Rs 68.18 crore in Q4 December 2019 (Q4 FY20) as against Rs 17.96 crore reported in Q4 December 2018 (Q4 FY19).
Net sales jumped 9.9% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) to Rs 663.19 crore in Q4 FY20. Profit before tax soared 23.6% to Rs 48.74 crore Y-o-Y. The result was disclosed after trading hours yesterday, 17 February 2020.
Net profit climbed 387.36% to Rs 170.04 crore on a 9.24% rise in net sales to Rs 2,547.67 crore in the year ended December 2019 over the year ended December 2018.
The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 5 per equity share (250%) for the year ended December 2019.
Huhtamaki PPL offers a range of products, which include specialized pouches, pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, personal care and household, specialized cartons, wet strength labels, shrink sleeves, and automotive and industrial products.
