India's forex reserves rise US$ 5.65 billion in the week ended 27 March

India's foreign exchange reserves jumped by US$ 5.65 billion to US$ 475.56 billion in the week ended 27 March 2020. The foreign exchange reserves had stood at US$ 469.91 a week ago.

Within the foreign exchange reserves, the foreign currency assets moved up to US$ 439.66 billion in the week ended 27 March 2020 from US$ 437.10 billion a week ago.

The gold asset also increased to US$ 30.89 billion from US$ 27.86 billion a week ago.

SDRs were flat at US$ 1.42 billion in the week ended 27 March 2020.

India's foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 62.69 billion over March 2019, while jumped US$ 63.66 billion over a year ago level.
