Natural gas output falls 5% in April-May FY2015
India's natural gas production declined 7.7% to 2.943 billion cubic meters (bcm) in May 2014, as per the data released by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The natural gas output of ONGC fell 0.2% to 1.934 bcm, while that of Oil India increased 3.3% to 0.229 bcm in May 2014. Meanwhile, the natural gas output of private/JV companies declined 8.2% to 0.779 bcm in May 2014.
