Trident Ltd surged 4.09% to Rs 67.5. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 93882 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 83955 shares in the past one month.

Vodafone Idea Ltd spiked 3.96% to Rs 6.82. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 108.98 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 805.72 lakh shares in the past one month.

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd gained 3.53% to Rs 669.25. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 29778 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 27766 shares in the past one month.
