Japan stock market closed on Monday, 24 November 2014 for a holiday.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe dissolved the House of Representatives Friday as planned, seeking to solidify the ruling coalition's majority in the four-year term lower house in an early election next month. General elections are expected to be held on Dec. 14, according to press reports.
