To test mobile boarding passes
Jet Airways (India) announced that the Company is collaborating with the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security of India (BCAS) and Bangalore International Airport (BIAL) for a pilot project to test the use of Mobile Boarding Passes on its flight.During this trail phase, guests can use barcoded boarding passes on their mobile phones to enter Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), pass through security and board their flight. This removes the need for paper boarding passes and fast tracks departure process.
