Jindal Steel & Power reports consolidated net loss of Rs 100.01 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 23.86% to Rs 6090.78 crore

Net Loss of Jindal Steel & Power reported to Rs 100.01 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 635.84 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 23.86% to Rs 6090.78 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 4917.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 2537.52 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 3087.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 13.71% to Rs 20409.14 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 17948.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
