JSW Energy update on acquisition of 1000 MW thermal power plant from JSPL

JSW Energy announced that on 03 May 2018, the company had entered into a Securities Purchase Agreement to acquire the 1000 MW (4X250 MW) thermal power plant located at Village Tamnar, District Raigarh, Chhattisgarh from Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL) with 30 June, 2018 as the Long Stop Date.

As the Conditions Precedent are yet to be completed and at the request of JSPL, it has been decided to extend the Long Stop Date to 30 June 2019.
