Mahanagar Telephone Nigam reports standalone net loss of Rs 595.11 crore in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 3.89% to Rs 873.01 crore

Net loss of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam reported to Rs 595.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against net profit of Rs 9600.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 3.89% to Rs 873.01 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 840.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 2893.39 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against net profit of Rs 7825.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 0.22% to Rs 3386.52 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 3379.16 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
