Net loss of Mahindra Ugine Steel Company reported to Rs 3.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 0.43 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 1.31% to Rs 157.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 155.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 188.15 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net loss of Rs 33.72 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 29.67% to Rs 611.53 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 869.51 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
