Merck Specialties gets Govt. nod for acquisition of Merck's biopharmaceuticals business

Merck announced that the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, by a letter dated 26 November 2018, has approved the proposal dated 02 July 2018 of Merck Specialties inter alia for acquisition of the biopharmaceuticals business of the Company by Merck Specialties by way of a slump sale.
