10-year G-sec Paper yield increases to 7.58%

The yield on 10-year benchmark federal paper, 7.72% GS 2025, galloped 04 basis points to 7.58% at 11.15 IST, compared with 7.54% at close in the previous trading session.

The total trading volume on the central bank's gilts trading platform stood at Rs 19490 crore.

The weighted average rate in the overnight call money increased to 6.86% at 11.15 IST compared with 6.69% in the previous session. The call money rate was hovering in the range of 6.5% to 7% with the volume at Rs 5726.75 crore.
