Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd rose 6.49% today to trade at Rs 82. The S&P BSE Auto index is up 2.28% to quote at 12625.95. The index is down 0.09 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Tata Motors Ltd increased 3.7% and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd added 2.52% on the day. The S&P BSE Auto index went down 30.82 % over last one year compared to the 14.32% fall in benchmark SENSEX.

On the BSE, 1.03 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 16.26 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 151 on 09 Jan 2020. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 48.5 on 24 Mar 2020.
