Mutual funds have bought stocks worth a net Rs 351.14 crore on 22 September 2017, compared with net inflow of Rs 302.34 crore on 21 September 2017. The net inflow of Rs 351.14 crore on 22 September 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2801.23 crore and gross sales of Rs 2450.09 crore. On that day, the Sensex lost 447.60 points or 1.38% to settle at 31,922.44, its lowest closing level since 11 September 2017.
Mutual funds have bought shares worth a net Rs 7976.49 crore so far in September 2017 (till 22 September 2017). They had bought shares worth a net Rs 17941.11 crore in August 2017.
