Neyveli Lignite Corporation net profit declines 19.58% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 3.42% to Rs 1709.89 crore

Net profit of Neyveli Lignite Corporation declined 19.58% to Rs 494.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 614.79 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 3.42% to Rs 1709.89 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1653.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 2.89% to Rs 1501.88 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1459.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 6.75% to Rs 5967.23 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 5590.07 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
