Neyveli Lignite Corporation standalone net profit declines 34.07% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 10.23% to Rs 1854.15 crore

Net profit of Neyveli Lignite Corporation declined 34.07% to Rs 446.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 676.81 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 10.23% to Rs 1854.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1682.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 23.77% to Rs 1204.15 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1579.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 9.55% to Rs 6669.05 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 6087.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
