Nifty December 2013 futures at premium

Turnover drops

Nifty December 2013 futures were at 6371.80, at a premium of 38.95 points over spot closing of 6332.85. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 121503.76 crore from Rs 155852.25 crore on Monday, 9 December 2013.

ICICI Bank December 2013 futures were at 1167.25, at a premium over spot closing of 1159.

NTPC December 2013 futures were at 137.15, at a premium over spot closing of 136.

L&T December 2013 futures were at 1107.55, at a premium over spot closing of 1099.75.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 31.05 points or 0.49% to settle at 6,332.85, its lowest closing level since 6 December 2013.

The December 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 26 December 2013
