Turnover declines
Nifty December 2014 futures were at 8178.75, a premium of 19.45 points over spot closing of 8159.30. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 303483.83 crore from Rs 389959.40 crore on Wednesday, 17 December 2014.
State Bank of India December 2014 futures were at 308.60, near spot closing of 307.
Infosys December 2014 futures were at 1971, near spot closing of 1969.
ICICI Bank December 2014 futures were at 347.55, near spot closing of 346.80.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 129.50 points or 1.61% to settle at 8,159.30, its highest closing level since 15 December 2014.
The December 2014 derivatives contract expire on 24 December 2014.
